Plerej Selekcija (eng. Selection) is produced only in exceptional vintages, when weather conditions and the natural balance of acidity in the grapes align perfectly. The grapes come from the oldest part of the ZOI Ponikve vineyard, where harvesting takes place slightly later and includes naturally dried berries.
The result is a distinctive wine of pronounced complexity, higher alcohol levels and a well-balanced residual sweetness. Due to the specific style of the wine, ageing is kept 12 months in oak barrels allowing the wine to retain its authenticity, elegance and varietal character.
